Who we are

The River Rhythm provides yoga classes online and face to face. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number and message when you use a form on our website, so we can reply.
• Bookings: your name, contact details, class choices and any information you give us when booking, so we can provide your classes and send reminders.
• Payments: card payments are handled securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your card number.
• Online classes: live sessions are delivered through Zoom, which receives the details needed to join the class.
• Children and adolescents: for anyone under 18 we ask a parent or guardian to book and give consent.
• Mailing list: your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
• Reviews: the name and words you choose to share, published only after we approve them.

Legal basis

We use your information to carry out the contract with you (bookings and classes), because you asked us to respond to an enquiry, to meet our legal obligations, and, for marketing emails, with your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as the law requires, and enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
